Composer | Musician | Song Writer

Hello! My name is Taylor Blanpied and I’m a composer for film & TV who is highly passionate about delivering my clients an amazing experience.
I grew up in Waco, TX starting my musical journey at 8 years old when I started drum lessons. I later picked up the guitar, bass, piano, and went on to college to study music performance with a focus in Jazz drumming. I also hold a Business Management degree from Texas State University that I received while living in Austin, TX. 
I first fell in love with film and film music when I first saw Jurassic Park in theaters in 1993. From epic orchestral pieces to the most tender soft piano tunes, I’m amazed at how matching the perfect song to a scene can elevate both art forms to another level.
Having previously worked in software for high level corporations for many years, I’m  an expert at professional communication and project management. I will communicate needs and expectations in a clear efficient manner and make damn sure deadlines are hit on time, every time.
My number one priority is about creating music with the perfect sound YOU are looking for. This is YOUR project! I ultimately want you to be thrilled and want to make the film/project the best it can be.
